Correct application of Stucco on the roofline of residential property.

In Florida we all have issues with closing properties that have stucco siding. This home has had the stucco installed properly with no concern for wicking up the wall and down the roofline causing mold and mildew. The problem is there are no regulations in the application, but this home owner had a great sub-contractor who took pride in his work as you can tell from the pictures. The key is to install a stop bead along the bottom of the stucco to give it a clean look and install a vortex relief flashing to kick the water out into the gutter.
