I am SO EXCITED! 2010 has been a great year so far! One of my goals for this year was to break 100,000 points on Active Rain, and I did it tonight.
I can't really explain exactly why I enjoy acquiring the points, except that they represent a commitment to participate, to learn, and to be involved. Yes, I suppose I do blog for the points, but it isn't just for the points themselves, but for the evidence to myself that I was Active.
After 100,000 points, I want to say a big thank you to Pat Kennedy who introduced me to ActiveRain, and to Darrin Friedman, my now manager of the best real estate office ever. He found me on ActiveRain, and my professional life has been infinitely happier since I switched offices!
I also want to thank Jim Downing, who is the best colleague a person could ever have - except probably for all the other people in my office these days. I really do feel like there is a wonderful group of colleagues here on Active Rain that I enjoy reading and hearing from like Stacy Ann and Margaret and C Starr - so thank you for making my days (actually my nights!) so enjoyable!
