An Old Fashioned Book/"Oral" Report!!

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX CROSSROADS

Being an avid reader/listener,( I listened to the tape-twice!) I just finished "The 4 Hr. Work Week" by Timothy Ferriss.  It was so "let's think out of the box"!

Timothy describes his life's trials & tribulations and then goes on to ask the reader to change his/her way of thinking.  He requests that we stop "putting our lives on hold" while we wait for RETIREMENT to experience life's pleasures!  He gives a ton of Websites to explore/use in our every day lives, and many ways to MAKE MONEY on the Internet! Since I was traveling at a very rapid rate of speed, I couldn't copy them down.  I hit the next Barnes & Noble Bookstore only to discover that he had a 2009 REVISED book on the market.  I'm very anxious to grab my highlighter, read the revised book, and check out the Websites he discusses!  I'll keep you posted.

Any other books that you would recommend?

It is a great book and a great concept. I think each person needs to find the right balance of how to apply it to their lives.

Hi Kathy, putting your life on "hold" is not the way to live. Living each moment as if it is your last, by getting in touch with yourself, works much better for me. I'd recommend any book on meditation that looks good to you.
