You never know who you are talking to!

By
Real Estate Agent with Sibcy Cline Realtors®

I was at home yesterday and dressed for Real Estate. Working on it that is not selling it. A lady pulled up in front of the home next door to me. I currently have that home listed and working hard to get it sold.

This young lady asked me if she could come into my yard and see the rear of the home. I introduced myself and told her that I was the listing agent. We talked for about a half hour about the home and some of her concerns. She shared with me that she has viewed the home many times on the internet and loves the inside. She felt that she needed to drive by and see the home and neighborhood in person. She contacted the agent that she is working for an interior showing.

Remember the neighbors can have an effect on the sale of your listings even if it's you!

Good job.  And good reminder. You never know when or where you might run into someone in our industry.

Yes,

I have caught myself having to mind my "P's and Q's" around the neighborhood as you just don't know who your next client will be.  Reminds me of the Peace Corps where we lived in a fish-tank all the time......

I tend to go in my yard in my pajamas when I work from home. Guess I should be more careful. You never know who might knock on the door or see you.

I have some concerns with showing interiors of homes on the internet.  Does anyone have any comments on this?

Greg ,show  interior photos  I have had buyers exclude homes due to no photos

James neighbors can be the best list agents they don't have far to go after hours to show the home if they are home they can talk to people getting flyer's

In my opinion neighbors are the logical choice ,I do not say this to offend anyone ,I just say it for the reasons stated above
