Realtor Experience Should Not Be Like Going to a Bar

By
Real Estate Agent with HTT Realty

I feel that the Realtor Experience should not resemble going to a Singles Bar.

If you can picture sitting on a bar stool enjoying your time out alone or with friends and all of a sudden someone sends you a drink or approaches you. They want to know all about you. They pay attention to what you say. They say what you want to hear. A relationship beings no matter how long and then it is over. Perhaps you have feelings that you made the wrong decisions and now you can't reach the person and no one will call you back. These experiences are very similar to the experiences I have had in the past from realtors that I have worked as a client. This is not my style. I want a client for life. I do not want a client for just the transaction. I want quality. Can you see the similarities I speak of?

Susan, I've always loved the "Bar" analogy with Real Estate agents.  Unfortunately it's true, both figuratively and literally.  Simply, the nature of the business.  Sometimes you have to realize that the bar didn't close only that the Happy Hour ended.  Whew!  Cheers!
