What's all the Buzz About in Shelton CT?

I have been a resident of Connecticut my entire life and have lived in Shelton CT the last 25 years.  After all that time in one place, I have a pretty good handle on Shelton in general and the housing market, roads, government, activities, schools and businesses in particular.  I have to admit, though, that I do not know everything that is going on, (who does?)  but I do try to keep abreast of what is happening.  Even so, I can't always find everything I want in one place.

I have not really spent a lot of time on Facebook yet.  I have done some connecting here and there when I have some free time. I learned recently, though, about Facebook Fan Pages.  I thought that creating and maintaining a fan page for Shelton CT would be a great place to post information for both residents and those who may be thinking of moving to Shelton.  What better way to learn about an area that has so much to offer and is a wonderful place to live?

So, I am announcing the launch of SheltonBuzz.  This page will be dedicated to everything and anything about Shelton CT and it is open to the public.  Anyone can share links, videos, or pictures of Shelton that they think would give others appropriate and interesting information about the city.   

Right now some of the things you can find on SheltonBuzz are why Shelton was named the Most Affordable Suburb in CT in 2009; a city points of interest map; and a walking and bicycle trails map just in time for the warmer weather soon to come.   And...coming soon ....Learn about local businesses and their owners right on the site!
