Did I spell thst correctly? Effective May1 2011 the State of Illinois no longer recognizes the title Salesperson. Upon May 1, 2011 the title Salesperson becomes inopertive and those with the license titled Salesperson are in limbo until April 30, 2012.
The date of 4/30/2012 is the date that all salespersons license expires

The basics are that to remain licensed in real estate in Illinois after that date you will need an additional 30 hours of continuing education unless one does not pass the preliminary testing. If one fails a 45 hour course will be required.

Holding companies will no longer hold licenses that are not at the level of broker because the salesperson classification will no longer exist.
