My Dining Experience with a Red Robin Burger Restaurant in Germantown MD
Letter sent to Red Robin Restaurant "Dining Experience"
I took my family to your Restaurant in Germantown Maryland because my 3 year old was celebrating his birthday and he wanted a hamburger. I figured instead of taking him to McDonalds, he deserved a higher level of a “Hamburger Experience” for his birthday.
As we were sat down, our waitress was informed by me that we were celebrating my son’s birthday. . she even asked “How old is him today?”
We ate and she brought the check. . .
I asked her then,
"Excuse me. .I don’t mind paying extra. . but would you bring my son a little cake with a candle to. .”
and she immediately say “sure!”
A few minutes later. . here comes a cake, the manager and some staff with a celebrating cake/ ice cream and they proceeded to go to table next door. .
They were also having birthday celebration. .
The staff sang it beautifully and I told my son. . that he was next. .
Waited and waited and . .
She finally shows up and my wife asked again if she can bring a little something for my birthday boy. . And she asked. .
“Do you want us to sing it too?. . like we did on that table?
HUH?
Of course we do!
What did she want us to say. . No! we don’t feel our son deserves that?
5 more minutes pass. .
The waitress has my credit card hostage. . .I announce to my family . . it is time to go!
I go to speak to the manager. .and he says, I’m sorry and he bolts out of there. . .
15 seconds later the waitress comes with my credit card and receipt for me to sign it. .
her excuse
“I had 3 other tables. .soooorry”
It was 5:45 PM !!!! give me a break!
One penny for a tip.. she does not even deserve that. . .
One waitress representing your restaurant
One manager. .
I don’t even remember what the food tasted like. .
All I know that the power of ONE REPRESENTATIVE speak volumes about your Restaurant
My son is only 3 years old. . and he probably already forgotten that he did not received his treat, but I did’t!
