Rancho Cucamonga Is A Great Place to Call Home!

Crowned by the majestic San Gabriel Mountains, the three communities of Alta Loma, Cucamonga, and Etiwanda voted to incorporate into the city we now know as Rancho Cucamonga.  Located just 40 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, the City's boundaries cover an area of approximately 38 square miles in San Bernardino County.

Rancho Cucamonga Is A Great Place to Call Home

Once a laughable synonym for a far away funny sounding place, especially on the Jack Benny Show, Rancho Cucamonga has now become a premiere city in Southern California's Inland Empire.  As a tribute to this 'publicity', the city of Rancho Cucamonga built its minor-league baseball stadium, The Epicenter on a street they named Jack Benny Way. The city of Rancho Cucamonga is home to the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, a minor league baseball team. After every Saturday home game, you can see a firework show light up the sky.

Rancho Cucamonga Victoria GardensJust east of the Quake Stadium, you'll find Victoria Gardens.  Quaint boutiques on lush landscaped streets with metered parking are flanked by large anchor stores, a Food Court, a 12 screen AMC Theatre, numerous restaurants and eateries, Victoria Gardens Cultural Center, Rancho Cucamonga Library, City Performing Arts Center, Southern California's only Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World superstore and vast parking lots and garages to create one of Southern California's most interesting and unique shopping destinations.  Victoria Gardens provides an old town square atmosphere to stroll, shop, enjoy fine dining and has quickly become the very "heart" of the community!

Schools in Rancho Cucamonga consistently rank among the best in San Bernardino County.  Rancho Cucamonga has multiple public K-12 schools, operating under several different school districts: Alta Loma School District, Central School District, Cucamonga School District, Etiwanda School District, and Chaffey Joint Union High School District. Rancho Cucamonga is also home to Chaffey Community College and several satellite campuses such as University of La Verne, University of Redlands, Everest College, and University of Phoenix, as well as the automotive trade school, Universal Technical Institute. Its newest addition is the private school Upland Rancho Cucamonga Central Park Christian Academy.

Rancho Cucamonga's wide variety of recreational and cultural amenities include 23 parks; a community center; two challenging golf courses; more than 100 miles of hiking, biking, and equestrian trails; an adult sports complex; the oldest active winery in California; Rancho Cucamonga is within an hour drive of most mountain, desert, and beach resorts.

Businesses too are finding Rancho Cucamonga is a great place to call their home.  Rancho Cucamonga is a major center for the Logistics industry in Southern California because it possesses three significant assets: 1) Location, 2) Transportation, and 3) Skilled Labor. Being just 40 miles from downtown Los Angeles, one of the world's largest economies, Rancho Cucamonga is immediately accessible to all of Southern California's major metropolitan areas and is served by three major freeways, the Ontario International Airport, and the BNSF Railroad.

Rancho Cucamonga boasts planned communities and award-winning architecture in addition to a quality, family lifestyle.  Even though Rancho Cucamonga is one of the nation's fastest growing metropolitan areas, the city enjoys a low crime rate, affordable housing, and remains one of the safest cities in the country.  In 2006 Money magazine ranked Rancho Cucamonga as the 42nd-best place to live in the United States.

A heritage of vineyards, ranchos, orchards, and wineries are reflected in the historic buildings that complement the newer, suburban development.  There's no mistaking that Rancho Cucamonga is truly a community that is proud of its past and excited by its future.   All this makes Rancho Cucamonga A Great Place to Call Home!
