Local Author Competes as Next Top Author

Move over American Idol and Dancing with the Stars, now there's Next Top Spiritual Author. Indian River County resident, Kandi Phillips, is a contestant in the Next Top Spiritual Author competition along with over 2,500 authors from around the world. One grand prize winner will be rewarded by Hampton Roads Publishing with a contract, as well as a $50,000 promotional package.

The competition consists of four rounds that narrow down to four finalists and one winner. The first round will account for 75% of outside votes with the remaining 25% from fellow authors. Kandi is asking for a vote from fellow Indian River County residents and to help her with additional votes by sharing her message with family, friends, co-workers, and business associates.
