365 Things To Do In Austin, Texas: House Wine

With The Hill Country Wine and Food Festival starting this Thursday  now seemed like the  perfect time to highlight one of my favorite little Wine Bars here in town.

They are great for any night of the week, always offering up great wine prices. If I was picking I would say try them out on Wine Tasting Tuesday for $10.00 you can partake in the wine tasting at 7:30. Another good time to give them a try are on Flower Hour Thursdays with complimentary appetizers from 7:00-9:00 and live music from 8:00-11:00.

They do have a great wine, I mean they have ‘wine' in the name but they do serve up a pretty delectable cheese plate. Those of you who are not wine drinkers, they also have beer. Most of their beers are local, remember I do not know much about beers but that is what I have heard.

You know how I love a place that offers outdoor seating and they have a great patio. Unfortunately, I do not have a quaint little patio at home to sip wine on after a long day but House Wine makes up for it. Both the inside is comfortable and contemporary, almost making you feel at home. It never gets old because they have wine from vineyards all over the world and the selection is ever changing.

As always, I love a place that offers free wifi so I could blog from there if I so desired, so Thank You House Wine.

In closing, it always seals the deal for me when a place has a great staff and they make the cut! Five star rating from me. The only downfall could be parking but parking is downfall at most hot spots in town.
