Amazing we wait for the boom of the March to start and then its May, wow!  I just wanted to remind all of us to do what I do this time of year to myself.  Make time to reconnect to our past clients!  Don't leave our largest facet of referals and go to another watering hole.  Remind yourself, as we are very busy this time of the year, to give each week 2 hours of constant contact, new contacts, and the rest is our daily grind.  Loosing the time we spent building relationships needs to be revisited every May as we forget about those old clients as we see so many new ones now.  Make time to do it, or you will forget and then its September and you'll be left scrambling to find the ones you missed!

Anniversary Dates - Cup of Coffee / Ice Cream Gift card or something simple

Birthdays and Home Closings - These are do not forgets!

Agents you have closed deals with

Lenders that have done a great job for you

All of your relatives

Plan a open house party for all your clients and associates at your office outside

Do something that makes you stand out that nobody else remembered to do! 

 

I just listed an old friends house, by calling him up and seeing what he has been up to.  Don't let you be the skeleton in the closet, as you might find out your past history will repeat itself if you revisit it.  You know alot of people who know alot of people, so reach out and touch someone that you haven't in a while and see if they have someone for you! 

 

Idea'r of the week:  Wanna get a listing?  Contact a FSBO and let them know that your not trying to sell there home, but only would like to know you can provide them services as a Facilitator if they find a buyer.  I have offered Facilitator fees for about 6 per year and everyone buys a home from me.  That is our goal to find new clients that are interested in buying and selling.  Don't pass on the opportunity of the easiest angle to meet a FSBO, by not selling them anything, they will appreciate the call and tell you everything, and if they don't sell, your on there list to call for the listing, as well as if they do sell, your on there list to there new home!  After you make contact with them, stay in touch once a week with a nice gesture of some creative way of your nature.  Best of luck to you all!
