In this BrokerIPTV video from the 2010 Realtor Rally in Denver, Mark Eibner speaks with broker Dale Carroll about the real estate market in Colorado.

Interviewer: Hi I am Mark Eibner with Broker IPTV. We are here to 2010 Realtor Rally at Convention Center and I am on the floor today with Dale Carroll and Dale, welcome.

Dale Carroll: Thank you for having me.

Interviewer: Hey, good seeing you here I was just curious how your production has been here in 2010, versus say 2009.

Dale Carroll: It's great, 2010 has really picked up, the market's really picked up. The market is also what you make it because the buyer pull is still out there and there is, still a lot of people that are interested in buying.

Interviewer: Yeah absolutely. I think there are probably more people than ever that want to buy, we just can't get them into things.

Dale Carroll: Yeah I notice that with the tax break coming up on April 30th, there are lot more buyers are coming out, so we are seeing a lot more multiple offers on properties now that we have never really seen before.

Interviewer: Yep, absolutely. Now you have been with Coldwell Banker for nine years.

Dale Carroll: Yes, I have.

Interviewer: And we were talking about shortly before that you were just on an HGTV show?

Dale Carroll: Yes I was its called "My First Sale" and the show is about people learning to fix and flip, and fixing and flipping it's really important to use a realtor, because if you pick a product that you buy and you can't sell it could really hurt you in the long run and you end up with a house that you can't sell or pay for it and lot of people end up in foreclosure for taking the wrong houses that they are trying to flip.

Interviewer: Yeah I think people will be surprised probably how many homes right now or at least in the last year or two where amateur flip artists?

Dale Carroll: Yeah there really are and people have to know what they're getting into and a lot of people get in over their head, where it has taken too long to get things repaired and back on the market or they pay too much to get things fixed up, so they can sell and so people are really hurting themselves without using a real estate professional when they do it.

Interviewer: Great, well Dale, we appreciate you talking to us here on the floor and best of luck for the remaining 2010.

Dale Carroll: All right, hey, thank you and good luck to you as well.

Interviewer: You bet.
