Sell Fast, Stage First

By
Home Stager with Staged Homes of Lubbock

This seller realizes that Staging first will help her to sell fast! She called me Sunday morning to say she had gotten the job, which is in another city, so she needed an "emergency" Staging Consultation so she could get it listed to sell fast!
More and more sellers and Realtors are realizing the benefits of Staging first to sell fast. I would rather not be a rescue, I'd rather perform preventative medicine and Stage before listing for the fast sale! Staging Consultations and competitive pricing are the two main ingredients for a quick sale. Recently I have been doing more and more up front Staging and my clients are benefitting!

Joyce, staging at any level is important. Even simple home staging has worked better than none at all. What is the average amount people will spend on staging their house?

Staging is still fairly new in Texas especially here in Lubbock, just a few years. As one of the first ASP Stagers here in Lubbock, education of the public was needed first, then along came HGTV with their Staging shows to help. An Occupied Staging Consultation at frist went for around $50 depending upon square footage. We couldn't get more than that without sellers balking due to the cost of the unknown "if it is worth it". Now a $50 Staging Consultation for an occupied property is becomeing a standard.

Vacant/new construction Stagings cost anywhere from $150 and up per room per month depending upon the amount of furniture/accessories needed and then the one-time Staging fee is on top of that which usually runs around $50 to $100 per room. These Staging are quite time consuming if done right.

Staging really does cost less than you think and is more effective than you can imagine.
