It's Harley Week here at the beach and the number of riders and vendors is down form previous years, thanks to Myrtle Beach's tough new laws for bikers. It is hard to understand when our economy is so dependant on tourism that we would discourage a large group from visiting the beach. Yes, they create more traffic and noise but they spend money and that is the bottom line. A lot of the local businesses suffer without it.
