Since my office focuses and short sales and the distressed housing market, we frequently get calls from both Realtors® and homeowners who would like more information about short sales, foreclosures, alternatives to foreclosure and potential short sale and foreclosure scams.
CAR (California Association of Realtors®) has now made it so much easier for California Realtors® to provide this information to homeowners. They have accomplished this by creating a ‘Foreclosure Prevention Library' which is free to all members.
The Foreclosure Prevention Library is an add-on library to ZipForm® 6 Professional or ZipForm® 6 Standard and consists of several customizable documents that explain how homeowners can avoid foreclosure and foreclosure scams.
The library contains the following documents:
- Proposition 8 - Property Tax Relief
- Tips for a Short Sale Seller
- Tips for a Short Sale Buyer
- Foreclosure or Short Sale?
- Foreclosure Prevention Resources
- Short Sale Process, Foreclosure Timeline
- Homeowner Liability After Foreclosure
- Avoiding Foreclosure Scams, Alternatives to Foreclosure
Each form in the library contains helpful information for homeowners who are facing the possibility of foreclosure. Realtors® can customize each document with their contact information and distribute the documents to clients and prospects who will benefit from this information.
In order to download the library, you will need to log into your ZipForm® 6 Professional account, and then click on the word shop. Select the Foreclosure Prevention Library from the list, and then checkout. Remember that the Foreclosure Prevention Library is free and a great package to share with clients!
