2 Day Tom Ferry Seminar, Active Rain & Video Blogging - My First Crack At It

Yesterday and today I attended a 2 day Tom Ferry seminar. What good stuff! Lots of great ideas and it was a very enjoyable couple of workshops to attend. My head is going crazy with all of the good ideas I want to implement into my business.

The first thing was something I've been saying for a year I want to start doing: video blogging. I'm a little camera shy, but practice makes perfect, right?

It was great to see the Active Rain crew in Massachusetts signing up agents and mortgage planners to start blogging. Not enough bloggers in my area and I'm hoping to help change that.

Check out my first video blog below. I need to do it more often and get comfortable with it. I know, I look like I have ADD moving around so much! LOL

Well done! I'll have to start practicing!

For the first video, I thought it was great! Just a small tip next time, limit the distractions behind you. The door was open a bit and maybe it would have been better to shut it or leave it wide open.

Thanks for all of the encouragement guys! Flip cameras can be purchased for under $200. Tom Ferry said that he picked his up at Costco I believe for $149. I got mine at Best Buy and it cost more since it was over a year ago, but it records up to 2 hours and all in HD. Already have a past client ready to do a video with me. Have to write out some scripts and get working on it. =) I'm LOVING that I see all of you local agents on here!!! I've been on here for awhile and know a lot of people from the west, but was always wishing there were more local bloggers to interact with. This is going to be so much fun!
