I take alot of pride in the fact that I have been successfully marketing Real Estate for over 35 years. But recently I have come to the realization that it does'nt really matter how long I've been doing this business, what matters is that I MUST be willing to be open to the continued changes in this business and in life in general. The only real value of doing this business for that many years is that I have proved to myself that I CAN do it and that it's a great way to make a living. Bottom line. We MUST come to work everyday with the attitude that THIS IS A NEW DAY. I must rejoice and be glad in it.

Mel...I agree with you. I have had a license since 1978.....but I am reminded it is not how long you have had it, but you have done with it. there is so much to do and learn, that all I can say with certainty is that I love this business.......

I remember when I first got into the business in 1994...we had discussions about whether the internet was going to replace Realtors or not...we all decided then and it is true today...Agents won't be replaced by a computer but those agents who are not tech savvy will be replaced by those who are!
