Hello,

Over the last 70+ days the oil spill has been on every ones mind, including me.  I often get calls from concerned consumers who are mislead into believing all of our Florida beaches are destroyed.  This simply is not the case.  Clearwater Beach has been as beautiful as the day I moved here several years ago.  Take a look at the following link, this is a great way to explain each area.  As we sit today the oil spill has consistently held a 150 mile distance from our shores, this is largerly due to the currents, and Gulf Shelf.

If you were looking to purchase waterfront property down here, you would be making a big mistake by waiting.  Our prices won't be this low for a very very long time, if ever again.  Remember the mortgage crisis is what caused this dip in the market, and now that things are planing off, prices have started, and will begin to climb in the next 4-5 years.  The best investment advice one can give you is "Buy low - Sell high"...

It's truly a shame that our Government has drug their feet on this Disaster! Clearwater looks like a BEAUTIFUL PLACE and I'm glad you haven't been effected by the spill like the majority of the Gulf Coast.
