Closings on June 30

Another transaction under the belt after a rough start. 

How do those days happen?   Everything is rolling along well and the closing is set for tomorrow (after the closing date has been amended three times).  Tomorrow is June 30th-the last day for the tax credit closing so we are in the deadline crunch.  The sellers agent calls to let us know the seller had gotten foreclosure paperwork that morning. 

NOW we no longer have a payoff figure as the bank won't give the title company an updated payoff.  The new attorneys have to establish the new payoff.  Do you think the attorney is in a rush to get those figures to the title company? 

NOW comes the title company - Kim Freeman with  Alamo Title in New Braunfels kept her day open as much as she could to take care of us.  She was in the office from 4:30 a.m. to her last closing at 8:00 p.m. to accommodate all the First Time Homebuyers.  That is above and beyond the call of duty.

We managed to close on the 30th but did not get to actually fund until the attorney got the adjusted payoff to the title company. 

So for all the people who pulled together to close this transaction: THANK YOU. Our buyers thank you and we thank you.
