Toledo Ohio. One of the 10 Best Cities 2010 for Education according to Parenting.com and their The Best Cities for Families series. They ranked the spots with the best education options, based on graduation rates, test scores, and more.
Toledo Ohio was ranked #6 partly because their graduation rate is a whopping 86.7% (one of the highest of any city surveyed.) Total expenditures per student are $15,350.
Toledo's overall ranking for "Best" city is 89th.
While I am always proud of my city, I was astounded to know of their ranking. Just goes to prove that most people don't have to leave their own backyard to find exactly what they need.
