The blue brick gallery in Gettysburg Pa is one of the newest additions to Gettysburg Adams County area art scene. The exhibited works that comprise the gallery are a collection of work by 7 well known Adams County artists. The art within the walls of blue brick gallery runs the gamet of art mediums, including photography, pottery, painting, as well jewelry and much more.
The artists, all women where brought together by Lisa Gohr-Harman, who happens to own the building that houses the gallery. Each artist brings something different to the table. Harman works in paintings, the jewelry of Jill Rakowicz, Amy Thrush-Dreves metalwork and jewelry, Deborah Yargar-Reed photography, painter Sarah Schaeffer-Maclay, jewelry from Wendy Spicer-Heiges, and Pottery from Shawn Heiges.
The gallery is filled with wonderful eclectic pieces large and small. The blue brick gallery is a great addition to ever growing artistic community that is taking hold here in Gettysburg Pa. Stop on by and take a look for yourself, you won't be disappointed.
