Creaser Park in Coventry is one of the few places in the area that offer nature hiking for people who have physical disabilities.  The area that makes up the park used to be a recreation area owned by the state Department of Mental Health.  Creaser Park is currently leased to the town and is home to numerous trails.  The trails here are blazed in blue, yellow, red or white and total just less than 3 miles.  The southeastern end of the park also borders a portion the Nathan Hale State Forest.  No matter what your family's interests are, you'll find peace and natural purity in the natural trails at Creaser Park!

The main trails at Creaser Park are the red and blue trails, with the white and yellow paths crisscrossing between the major paths.  The blue trail runs almost a mile along the northern portion of the park.  It passes heavily wooded areas filled with New England forestry, including oaks and large white pines.  The blue trail is located along the highest point in the park and provides views of the surrounding countryside. The red trail follows the southern portion of Creaser Park and shadows the Skungamaug River for a good distance.
