Indoor Water Saving Tips

  • Install water-saving showerheads and shorten your shower time to five minutes.
  • Turn off water while you are brushing your teeth.
  • Run only full loads in your dishwasher and washing machine.
  • Rinse produce in a sink as opposed to running water.
  • Check toilets for leaks - a leaky toilet can waste up to 100 gallons of water every day.

Tom, you've given a short list of some good ideas for saving water.  I am guessing that Active Rain gave you that nasty red and yellow "X"... thinking your post was either two short, or that you just copied and pasted it.  Any ideas ?

Honestly, I am just trying to be helpful, here.

Thanks for these tips!  Isn't it amazing how much a little common sense can save you?  Too bad we can't buy it!

Also, if they do not count this as a post... I am also guessing that it will NOT qualify as your one post every ninety days that you need to post in order to keep your "Rainmaker" status.  If I may, I suggest that you write a nice post of your own wording, perhaps around 200 words or so.  That should do it.  Again... just a suggestion.
