Georgetown Airfest - September 25, 2010
On Septemebr 25th at the Georgetown Municipal Airport the 2010 Georgetown Airfest will take flight. This event lets you get up close and personal with some of the coolest vintage aircraft you have ever seen.
On display and in the air will be aircraft like the the Army Air-Corps B-25 bomber, an SNJ-4 Navy Trainer, a Fairchild PT-19, RC aircraft, Hot Air Balloons and many others unique aircraft.

Here is the schedule of Events for the 2010 Georgetown Airfest:
6:30 a.m., Sunrise balloon launch at the north end of the Georgetown Municipal Airport
8:00 a.m., EAA Flight Breakfast at the Cannon Aviation Group hangar near the Terminal Building
10:00 a.m., Georgetown AirFest begins with aircraft static displays, Air Rides, RC plane and helicopter demonstrations, take-offs and landings, demonstrations, and food vendors
1:00 p.m., Georgetown Pipes and Drums Band performance with Georgetown Fire Department Honor Guard followed by the dedication of Engine 4 by the Georgetown Fire Department. The new fire truck was paid for in part by the Airport Fund and is based at Fire Station 4 adjacent to the Georgetown Municipal Airport.
2:00 p.m., Falcon Flight precision formation flight team performs fly-over in RG experimental planes
4:00 p.m. Georgetown AirFest concludes
The best part of the Georgetown Airfest is that it is free.
