Sept. 11th A day of Reflection. - Do you Remember where you were?

Real Estate Broker/Owner with Expert Real Estate Partners LLC

September 11th, 2001- A day that will never be forgotten. While I could go on and on about what this day means to me and to others around the world I would just like to remind everyone to take a few minutes and reflect how this day changed all of our lives. I can remember exactly where I was and what I was doing at the exact moment everything was happening as I am sure most of us can. My brother was a firefighter at that time and I know that if he was in any of those situations he would have acted just as bravely regardless of how dauntless it would have seemed.

I have since joined the Kimberly Fire Department and I am now a proud volunteer firefighter as well.

So if you get a chance tomorrow, take a few minutes and remember those that lost their lives and the ones who gave theirs to save others.

Yes * and I remember where I was when JFK was shot, when MLK was shot, when the Challenger went down and when Waco happened.

I do NOT remember when Robert Kennedy was shot as it was at night and not televised until the next day

I know it is deep in my heart and my mind where I was.  My husband was working a few miles from where it happened.  He called me right after the first tower was hit.  Then the phone communication was gone.  I never clung to a phone and radio harder than that in my life.  I pray for those who have lost their loved ones!  It really doesn't seem like it's been 9 years.  Thank you for remembering and reminding everyone else to do so.

Sincerely,
