My REALTOR friend from Franklin TN still says "jet setters". The popular planes in these communities are fast (160-200 knots) 2 place experimental/kit planes and a more limited-loosely-regulated class of aircraft known as "Light-Sport -Class".

What a fun place for pilots to live in. Interestingly enough, when my family lived in Minnesota, and we went to Iowa to play on the lake that bordered both states, Iowa farmers had landing strips for their planes, and not they were not crop sprayers, they were recreational planes.

This summer we were visiting a client in OceanReef (Key Largo) FLA. They have an airstrip for small planes and jets, these were the real jetsetters...an amazing place.

There was a conference in Eagle Mountain, TX. Many of the attendees were there to celebrate a friends CASH purchase of a Citation X10 business jet. There were numerous jets of various sizes and descriptions.

Apparently the saying is true; "birds of a feature flock together". even if the birds are planes. : )

2% of the nation's population are pilots. The FAA likes to call these airport properties, "through-the-fence", properties.
