It is now time for Cobb County's Jonquil City to celebrate the end of summer with great food and entertainment. The Taste of Smyrna is food, fun and music all day long! Nibble and nosh your way around the Village Green on Sat., Sept. 18 from 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
You won't want to miss all the tasty bites from over 30 participating restaurants including Atkins Park, Marlow's Tavern, Chick-fil-A, Zucca Bar & Pizzeria, Pasta Bella, The Melting Pot, Stevi B's, Williamson Bros. BBQ and more. Admission is FREE and samples can be purchased from .50 up to $4.
Enjoy acoustic music from Scott Thompson performing all day at the Veteran's Memorial and continuous entertainment on the Main Stage in front of the Smyrna Library. And be sure to grab your spot on the Village Green lawn because the music heats up with Peachtree Station in concert at 7:00 p.m. Enjoy songs ranging from Brown Eyed Girl, Melissa, Lay Down Sally, Dock of the Bay, Wave on Wave and many more.
The kids will have a blast in the Kids Zone with interactive inflatables featuring the 33' Shark Slide, Euro Bungee Quad Jump, 24' Rockwall, 120' Roller Coaster Obstacle Course.
The whole family will enjoy Wildlife Wendy's Tropical Bird Show with show times at Noon, 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. Wildlife Wendy has been featured on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Winner on Animal Planet's Pet Star, and events across the nation. A show for all ages, eight tropical birds are presented to entertain and educate the public on wildlife awareness.
Plan to sample all Smyrna's finest restaurants and listen to music all day long all on the beautiful Village Green and Market Village. The weather will be sunny and pleasant, so come join the fun!
