I love these videos. I am a true fan of blogging for real estate agents, but social media seems to be abused by most. There is a pretty good discussion over on Agent Genius. I am going to get back to my blog roots and leave the tweets and updates for the SM guru crowds.
Ignore social media at your own peril. If you think it's too hard to master - tough! Learn it anyway. Your competition is.
Larry, I think its the "cool kid" syndrome :). I also see a lot of do as I "teach" and not as I do. I have received several page requests from a "guru", all pages I would have no interest in if they really knew me. Then I read one of their blog posts that says they are not going to "like" any of the page requests that are sent in bulk. Hmmm, Kettle meet black. I also have seen a ton of "experts, gurus, techies" grow out of what use to be the real estate agent ranks because they feel if they have 100,000 followers, 50,000 friends they are the expert on something.
I've seen this video before and it is awesome, thanks for sharing it with us all! We've employed social media as a significant marketing avenue and its been incredible. Don't underestimate its power!
Yes, this is a great video- my boss showed it to the entire office. The key is to stay on top of it or you will lose your business to someone who does.
