Charlotte NC's second self-serve TCBY store is now open at the Blakeney shopping center in Ballantyne and they'll be hosting a Grand Opening celebration on Saturday September 25th.

If you've read my post on Charlotte's Colony Place TCBY it's no secret I'm a fan of the place so I had to go and check out this newest location from local owner Sam Batt. Because I really can't recommend it if I've never been a customer there - or maybe I just wanted an excuse to go and get fro yo, whatever.
The two locations aren't identical, though they're both self-serve where you choose your own flavors and portion size then add whatever toppings you want and pay by the ounce.
Honestly I kinda like that the stores aren't carbon copies of each other.
The Blakeney TCBY is a larger store and offers more flavor choices as well as a larger topping selection 
for guests. I have to say I really like the logo behind the topping counter at Blakeney, very sleek!
I live a lot closer to the Colony Place store so that's going to continue to be my main TCBY but it's always good to have options when I'm over by Blakeney or Ballantyne in general.
For all of you who live, work or shop near Blakeney you've got a very cool new TCBY in your backyard, go check them out!!!

I've been following the Colony Place TCBY's facebook page and one thing I've noticed is that they respond to and do seem to welcome feedback from customers. While you can never please everyone all the time, listening to feedback is a big deal and they seem to be doing a fantastic job.
