This is a national celebration of the arts and culture. There are hundreds of free activities over the next 3 days for this weekend here are a few to check out. Learn Latin Dance in Etobicoke, see visual art installation in Parkdale, head over to Liberty Village and visit Artscape Gallery, there is so much to see and do. Here is a small sampling in Toronto.

On Friday, checkout the Symphonia Toronto, string orchestra, they are offering free seats during their afternoon rehearsal at Willowdale United Church located at 346 Kenneth St. from 1-5pm (same for Sat.) North York.

The Canadian Opera Company will also open their doors for a free concert of opera arias. Get there early, as I'm sure these seats will go fast. Show starts at 7:30pm. Located at The Four Seasons Centre's Richard Bradshaw Amphitheatre University/Queen Ave.

And, on Saturday evenings you can catch open rehearsal for Verdi's grand Opera Aida from 7-8:30pm. This is a highlight not to be missed so plan or being early as this will be a popular free event.
