I Like a Buyer with a Clipboard
They are either serious - or they are an engineer and you are about to enter into their own unique way of identifying the property they will write an offer on. One more reminder of why I focus on Listings these days!
I really like a buyer with a clipboard.
I don't see it all the often, but when I do I am pleased.
- A buyer with a clipboard tells me that there is some seriousness about the process.
- The buyer is organized, wants to have notes to remember things that they observed or want to ask about, is concerned about making an informed decision, and isn't "just looking."
This is especially true when we are out looking at multiple homes.
I have found such buyers to have a good idea of what they want, or don't, and to be decisive about the properties that could work versus those that are off the list. And they have some documentation as opposed to some foggy memory or emotional response.
Can one be overly analytical when using a clipboard?
Perhaps.
But it's not been my experience that that is an issue.
Bring on your clipboard. I'm glad you are prepared to do the work to buy the right home to suit your needs.
What do YOU think?
