Brian Bailey's "The Sales Elite"; Get Great or Get Out

By
Real Estate Agent with HomeSmart

I attended a seminar this morning that turned out to be a real eye-opener for me.  I was sent an email last week inviting me to a free networking function for realtors, and to my surprise, it turned out to be a performance and coaching seminar:  Brian Bailey's: "The Sales Elite".  If you haven't heard him speak and have a chance to, I would highly recommend you take the time and make the effort.  I've been to quite a few classes and conferences since starting my real estate career now, and this was the one that finally threw the bucket of water in my face.

Cliff notes version: it was a very high energy 4 hour seminar about becoming what you aspire to be, steps and concepts to reaching your goals, and what holds most people back from what they started out thinking they would be achieving in their careers.  But what made it different from all the other seminars you attend when you get started with your business was; he told you how it was.  He didn't sugar-coat it to make you feel good about yourself and that everything is going to be easy and the money is right there for you to go get your share.  There is a lot of work to be done, and it isn't the right business for a lot of people.  The idea is actually quite simple:  Get Great or Get Out

This seminar was a small preview to a year long coaching and performance course that he teaches and I barely scratched the surface in this post.  But with what I took away today and if some of the testimonials and statistics that were given are true, it is a very effective course.  He guarantees 96 referrals in the first 12 months, or a 100% refund on your money.  I am definitely working it into my business plan for 2011, and I definitely recommend you take the time to listen and learn if you get the chance.

When you break things down into simple form, all of your big goals become much easier to obtain.  If you think you're going to climb Mt. Everest tomorrow and haven't reached small goals, you will always fail.  If you start climbing a mountain that is 3-4 miles and work up to that, you can do whatever you set your mind to.  Good stuff Jesse.

This is where having tracked your numbers for the previous year really helps.  What worked the best? What activities produced the results? How many of those activities do you need to do to reach your goals?

Jesse, I attended the December Dallas version of this Brian Bailey presentation and objected to the bait and switch sales technique to lure loan officers and REALTORS to the presentation under the guise of a networking event. I can't vouch for the Coaching services or the lead generation systems but if you purchase them, let us all know what you think of them.

Well worth going to see. Brian Bailey is an engaging speaker, and one of the most entertaining, knowledgeable coaches I have sat in front on for a long time. The focus here in Austin was on increasing real estate business, how to get more leads and referrals.  Brian Bailey gave real content and a new approach to lead generation and a full how to doing your business with a new way of thinking.  I think his coaching program is valid and worthwhile, I was able to network and meet great people I might not of met. No one got up and left, that's a sign that it was worth staying for.  I have 28 years as a Realtor and can always learn something new. I will take back a lot of his ideas to my team and put them into massive action.

Jesse,

Although I agree Brian does a good job as a motivational speaker, the way in which he gets you to come to his seminar is questionable under any standards. He talks about integrity, honesty, professionalism, etc - he should practice what he preaches...... The email PCI sends out says, "We're looking for some Real Estate Agents to come out and help out the banks that have prequalified buyers." This a bogus! The ONLY thing they were "looking for" was someone to sign up for Brian's 26-week online motivational series!!

I sat in on one of Brian's workshops a few days ago!

He certainly motivated me!

I am a new realtor, since May 2011, and really need some direction. Which is why I signed up; even though I have no way of paying for this product right now.

I coule use some encouragement to stick this out and not cancel before I get started!

I have been trying to talk myself out of this for the past few days.

Thanks for any comments!
