Hope everyone is doing well, clients and agents alike.
Lesson learned today:
You never know when you meet some nice people in need of assistance. Just received a referral from an agent in Algonquin IL who asked me to show a condo to a young first time home buyer couple in Schaumbrug. The couple was awesome and we are hopefully going to work together, and it just reminds you why we do what we do.
As my wife is brewing lasagna, and the aroma of the flavor is rumbling my stomach I reflect to the first transaction that I did, where my stomach was turning with fear and hope that I can do this right. It turned out to be a great experience - I had found a nice home for my clients, we went through a bidding war with 2 other agents, won... and celebrated.
Today, the market is slow...negativity is on the rise...but one thing has not changed: first time buyers are fragile creatures in need of information, guidance, patience and advice. As my wife and kids kick me out of the kitchen for trying to sneak an early bite, its nice to know that someone want to listen to you, and trusts you to put them on the right path.
Anyway - have a great weekend everyone. This is my first entry. Hopefully not the last....
