Grace Lutheran School's First Ever Health and Safety Week!
Yes! An entire week! Each day, throughout October 18-22, our students will be receiving education on
personal safety, cyber safety, health and nutrition and more. The Health and Safety Fair will begin on
Friday, October 22 from 2:30 - 6:30 in the school gym and will include everything from bike safety to
flu vaccinations. Following is a schedule of planned activities for the week...
Monday: Fire and Safety
• 8:00 am - Sandy City Fire Department will welcome
our students as we kick off our Health and
Safety week.
• Drill day - students will practice fire and earthquake
drills
• 6:30 pm - Rad Kids - Personal Empowerment
Safety Education. Parents, teachers and staff invited
to learn more about this powerful program
encouraging safety through self-esteem. Located in
