Good interview... I agree with you about, "What's the urgency with home values dropping and unemployment looming." I know, even those of my friends that are working now were laid off over the past 2 years and they may be re-employed again but they're not making near the money they were. We can't blame people for sobering up and being cautious about what tomorrow might bring. You can only take so many surprises at a time. And as was said, the government usually really late to address the problem.

I'd buy now in a heart beat if I could... I've seen some really great deals out there. I just ask for patience as I optimistically work towards getting myself ready for that home I want and hope my timing is right.
