Houses in Mountain House - Are you buying?

If you're considering moving to Mountain House, CA I'd like to make a couple of suggestions.

As a local agent there are somethings you should know.

1) You should use a local agent.  While family friends, an agent from miles away, etc can give great advise, you as the buyer will be best represented by a local agent.  Encourage your 'friend, family agent, etc' to refer you to a REALTOR is Mountain House.  The referral agent can get paid a referral fee and you get great local representation.

Why is this important?  1) As a local agent in Mountain House CA I can tell you about the schools, the local asseessments, the unique fees that have to paid on Lenar Homes and lots more.

2) Do your home work.  Learn about the schools, read articles, don't just believe what everyone tells you.  For instance, do good research on when a High School will be built.  To date, there are no definitive plans.  Tracy Unified has to release the students and allow Mountain House to incorporate.

3) Consider how far it is to the nearest grocery store, restaraunt etc. I'm not saying this is an issue for most, just be aware.

Last there are windmills on the hills to the west for a reason.  When those "fans" are on it can be very windy in Mountain House.

I think Mountain House is a great community.  Tri-Mark has done an excellet job marketing Mountain House as "the place of promise"and a go to destination for home owners.  I happen to agree with them.  There are a lot of great places to live just East of Livermore Valley.
