41th Annual Home Tour & Art Show

Each year for the past forty years, AAUW Redding Branch, Inc. and its Home Selection Committee headed this year by Chair-woman Francie Parr begin the process of identifying and selecting four local homes for its highly anticipated Home Tour & Art Show. These aren't your standard homes either; the Committee carefully looks for properties with certain flair and uniqueness to them and as you can imagine, this is no easy task. With so many homes to choose from, the committee begins this process fairly early in the year as they carefullly narrow down the top four homes.

The Cause
The annual AAUW Home Tour and Art Show is a fundraiser and all proceeds are split between the Educational Foundation and scholarships awarded to Shasta College women who are transferring to a 4-year college or university. Each year the organization awards up to $20,000 in scholarship to Shasta County women. It is the only fundraiser event they do throughout the year, which is why so much time and effort is invested in it.
