Philly....RainCamp is Coming Your Way!

I'm registered AGAIN!  Woo-hoo, met Cindy and Hannah in NY but overlooked Jeff at that RainCamp. Might even learn something in between greeting all my blogging buddies...

OK, I'll be there! This will be my first one.  I'm looking forward to learning more about SEO and ways to more easily add quality content to the website.  

I'm coming up from Harrisonburg, VA, via Baltimore - it will be a nice drive!

Kerrie, Ha ha ha....believe me.  He could, but won't.  LOL.  I'm IN!  I'm so excited :)  Let's try this again!

The only time I've been to Philadelphia, the first thing I did was ask for directions to the nearest Philly cheese steak stand. Well worth it and satisfying...just like Rain Camp. Enjoy.

Kerrie, A great reason to go into Philly, to grab a chicken cheese steak w/fried onions and sauce, a birch beer, if I'm lucky, and to attend my first Rain Camp!!!

EXACTLY Richard!!!  Tony Luke's is the cheesesteak REAL Philadelphian's eat (or maybe Chink's on Torresdale Avenue.)  Pat's and Gino's are poor representations mass produced for tourists and/or those who have had several drinks and may be less discerning in their late night food options.

Looking into attending...even if I am unable to make it to Rain Camp, I would certainly be up for meeting any attendees at an after-event for a cocktail or two!  Nick, maybe I will catch you and Trudy downtown!

After reviewing the itinerary, it seems that some of the information may not be easily adapted to my world as a home inspector.  Any thoughts on that Kerrie?

If not, I am pretty sure my wife (a newly licensed Realtor who I am working with to get her web site up and running and start blogging) would be interested in attending.  I'd be interested in your take on if you think I would find it as beneficial.  Thanks in advance!!

Joseph - RainCamp is designed for anyone in the real estate industry, home inspectors included, who want to better their business.  I guarantee you will leave 'Camp with the knowledge to do just that.  Bring your pretty wife too!!  :)

Penns Landing is a great location.  Right by the Ben Franklin Bridge.  Should be a great time!  Independence Hall is not far away!

Eric - As of now, we have Philly, Houston and Atlanta scheduled.  2011 will bring a plethera of new 'Camps.  As they are solidified we will add them to the RainCamp tab at the top of AR and write a post about it.

Woo hoo !!!!!  Great spot !

It is an excellent venue!  The Waterfront Hyatt has excellent views of the Delaware and Ben Franklin, and is close to my absolute FAVORITE part of town - Olde City!!  (LOTS of trouble to get in around 2nd and Chestnut Sts.)  It also has a really good (but slightly pricey) restaurant attached (Keating's River Grill - strongly recommend any of their apps and the Flat Iron Steak).  Another tip:  If you are planning on eating in town, check out Restaurant.com first for gift certificates to local spots - but be sure to get a promo/coupon code first!  You can get a $25 gift certificate for $3, or $50 for only $6 (I just used one at Keating's River Grill last week!)

I am coming and will bring my wife (freshly-minted Realtor) as well!!  Thanks for your help, and I am looking forward to it.  Looking forward to seeing friends like the Somers team, too!!
