Music, Marines, & FREE Wine Tasting in Sonoma Valley

Kirsten's Sonoma Real Estate Blog

With splashes of blazing fall color as a backdrop, Sonoma Valley events this weekend include music, Marines, and a FREE wine tasting opportunity.   In the spirit of full disclosure, the free wine tastings are offered by a select group of wineries to guests who stay at Sonoma Valley Bed and Breakfast inns.  The Sonoma B&B Association's website has the details.  Allow me to provide a little advice here.  For reservations you need to check with each individual B&B because the association's reservation calendar is NOT up to date.

Friday November 5, 2010 is the 25th Annual Wine Country Marine's Birthday Ball at Jacuzzi Family Vineyards.  Tickets are $125.  Attire for men is "black tie or best uniform" and ladies attire should "match" (not sure what that means.  I wonder whether my tux would get me in?)  For reservations and information call 707.537.8576.  This is a fund-raiser as well as a patriotic celebration.  Money raised goes to the Semper Fi Fund, which provides financial help to Marines who are wounded in training or combat.

Kirsten's Sonoma Real Estate BlogThere's plenty of music in Sonoma and Cat Smith of the Sonoma Valley Sun has the rundown.   If you want to work off that Halloween candy I suggest the Little Switzerland, a beer garden and dance hall that my great grandparents were fond of back in the 1920's and '30's.

Saturday November 6th, 2010 there's a fund-raiser for Glen Ellen's beloved Dunbar Elementary School, Moon Dance 2010,  at the Atwood Ranch.  Tickets are $45.00 per person (includes wine, beer, hors d'oeuvres & dancing.)  Call Linda at 707.343.1422 now to reserve your seats!

There's a lot more happening here this weekend.  You can Google Sonoma Valley events and you'll be amazed at the choices you have.

Oh, yes.  If you want to look at some Sonoma Valley real estate this weekend...just give me a shout.  Have a great weekend!

It matters to us as much as it matters to you.

It sounds like a wonderful event, sample a couple of wines for me while you are there.  Kirsten, I am not sure if it is just my browser but the bottom half of your blog is now just showing code.
