John and I were so fortunate to have this opportunity last night. Seven agents from our office prepared food for our local Ronald Mc Donald house located near Children's Hospital in Seattle. We arrived with our food prepped for eighty family members staying at the house while their loved ones were in the hospital. We had to assure them that we were not sick so that we would not infect any of the patients or family members staying at the house. We prepared and served teriyaki chicken, sticky rice, fresh fruit, asian cole slaw salad rolls and dessert. The residents of the house ate and we had one of our agents doing magic tricks. It was so much fun! We had families from as far away as Mexico, Montana and Hawaii. After dinner we cleaned and disinfected the kitchen area and boxed up the remaining food for families who were unable to attend the dinner. I have never seen such a well run organization. This was truly one of my most memorable experiences in my lifetime. If you love to volunteer this is a great venue!! The kids and families loved it!
