Wordless Wednesday - Line Dry

By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage

I took this picture in Concord, MA last month and it is still on display in front of the Unitarian Church. There is a new awareness that line drying is POPULAR because it saves energy: second to the refrigerator, the electric dryer is the biggest household user of electricity. I am not sure if this fits in with my lifestyle but I fondly remember the smell of fresh sheets from when I was a child.

A lot of towns here in MA do as well, it will be intersting to see if more towns change.

Peggy, Nothing like sleeping on fresh line dried sheets in the spring!  I too have fond memories of running in between the sheets in the wind as a child as my mother was doing laundry.
