Insurance Reviews

Hard to believe we are heading into the holidays and another year is quickly coming to a close.  Along with holiday preparations this is the perfect time of year to contact your insurance agent and review your homeowners insurance policy.  Many times we take out insurance, but we never take the time to review our policy to make sure we have the right coverage for any changes that may have occurred.  Keep in mind that any renovations, upgrades, additions and so forth that you make to your home should be communicated to your insurance agent so that those items are covered under your policy.  The worst thing that can happen is to have an unfortunate event such as a fire and then you discover you never updated your policy and all the expenses are not going to be covered.  With the end of the year approaching it is the perfect time to get with your insurance agent and review your policy and make any changes.  You may even find there are some ways to save money so don't delay, call today.

Great reminder - so many people purchase insurance and then just forget about it.  With the huge drop in property values in SouthWest Florida people can probably save quite abit of money if they review their policy.

Too many people forget about reviewing their insurance for years - and when I see their insurance statements during a refinance, you can tell that they have been treated like boiled frogs - raise the heat slowly and the frog never jumps out of the water.  Many insurance companies do the same thing with small annual increases.
