It's time for another Name That Photo post. Here are two pairs of eyes for you to eyeball and see if you can come up with the names of these two famous people that they belong to.

And for now that's the only clue that I will give. "Famous people" Well OK I will also say that I took the photos at the same time, at the same place, although one of them is a photo of a photo.

Confused? These two do share a common bond. Can you guess who they are? And perhaps where I took these photos?

Let the guessing begin.

Good Guesses everyone - So far we have half a winner - Janice you are correct. Photo number 2 is indeed esteemed movie and theatre actor Christopher Plummer. Excellent work. Now if you can guess where I was you will be able to figure out who the 1st photo is of.

Hi Jenny - I, too, saw your private invite but after I finished my 10 comments earlier this evening. Janice's correct answer and your followup comment were very useful. I also googled prior to Kathy's posting and had already concluded on William Shakespeare and Stratford, Ontario. I just was waiting until midnight for a new day.

More specifically, the William Shakespeare statue is in the garden of the Festival Theatre.

BTW, did you know that the maternal great-grandfather of Christopher Plummer was the third Prime Minister of Canada - Sir John Abbott - from June 16, 1891 – November 24, 1892?

Kathy and Marc, thanks for naming the other pair of eyes. It is indeed William Shakespeare and I took the photo outside the Shakespeare Festival in Stratford on a dull day last Sunday. No theatre crowds around at this time of the year.

Of course Christopher Plummer has pleased many a theatre goer here in past productions. Thanks again Janice for recognizing his eyes.

Marc interesting info about Sir John Abbot.
