Legacy Lakes tennis facility, 15 minutes from Pinehurst, is having a tennis tournament this weekend. The draws have been made, and the matches begin this afternoon at 4:00.
I believe this is the third annual tournament, and it will continue through Sunday afternoon. There will be a mens doubles draw, a woman's doubles draw, and a mixed doubles draw. First round losers will get to play in a consolation round of play, so all players will play at least 2 matches.
There will be prizes for the winners and finalists of the main draw. All players will receive a long sleeve tee shirt, and lunch will be provided for all players. The cost to each player was $25.
If you didn't get involved this year, you are welcome to come and be a spectator, as I will be. There will be another tournament next year at Legacy Lakes so if you live in or around Pinehurst, or you want to come for a visit to the area to participate contact Julie @ Legacy Lakes 910-944-2641
