Did you notice?? Rates going up?
I noticed rates have been going up. I think there is a log jam of un processed refi's and sales and the banks are taking advance of them. I was reading that in a week or two the rates will start moving back down. But what do I know other than 3 weeks ago one of my clients locked in under 4% and now a client is looking at 5.25% ! What goes up must come down or what goes down must go up ! Peace ! Food for thought !! ~ Ian Lazarus,CRs

Wow, a lender whom I refer clients to pretty often , told me of a rising trend among interest rates, specifically mortgage interest rates. Can this be true? So I went to look. If there has been, it certainly hasn't been that significant. I looked into my neighbors crystal ball (it use to be mine but it didn't work which is now a yard decoration or as they call it, piece of fine art,) and there was no sign the change would last. Then the words "Uncertainty rules the day" crossed my computer screen.
Although I have had no lack of fear and grit my teeth pretty often when listening to financial, real estate and world news, China and the fiscal woes of Ireland are concerning. And Ireland, a place my wife and I love. Third only to the United States and Australia. How could they????? Well, guess just like we did. Too much confidence, too many crooks, too many something.
So, as I sit looking outside at the third snow storm in November we have probably 4-5 feet of fresh snow. It's beautiful. I came to a conclusion. It is a good time for two things. Preparing for all the buyers that this snow will bring and enjoying a Thanksgiving meal with family and friends, giving thanks for all the solders who gave me this day. With a nice thick carpet of snow, fireplaces warming us all, I hope you will experience the warmth this great American Holiday bring us.
