Overall, there are not many changes compared to last week, just a slight increase of active listings from 474 last week to 479 this week. No major changes in the Condo category, but there was a somewhat significant increase in the Home category, in the price range between $200,000 and $300,000 (12 more active listings). Only 4 of those 12 listings were brand new (2 REOs, 1 Short Sale, 1 Standard Listing), which leads us to believe that the remainder are most likely listings that experienced a price reduction (meaning they were formerly in the $300,000 to $400,000 range).

No big changes in the percentages of active Standard Listings compared to homes in some state of foreclosure.
Since November 1, 79 Whittier properties have successfully closed Escrow - 7 Condos (ranging from $130,000 to $290,000) and 69 Homes (ranging from $180,000 to $1,370,000). Compared to the same period of time (the 1st through the 29th) in October, 93 properties sold, and compared to the same period of time in November 2009, 104 properties sold.
