Does a casserole qualify as a Christmas ornament?

My wife, Dolores, prepares an Italian sausage and white bean casserole with dinosaur kale that is as colorful as a holiday decoration.  Just as pretty and wonderful to eat.

Happy Holidays from our home to yours!

Look closely in your kitchen and you may find other potential photographs that would qualify for the Christmas Photo Challenge on ActiveRain. Decorations good enough to eat!

We have cold weather in Maryland and I need to do out to cut down our dahlias and the hosta plants as part of our fall clean up.
