Name, Rank & Serial Number When Dealing with IRS

By
Education & Training with ApartmentToolKit.com

When dealing with IRS or an IRS tax advocate via telephone, make sure you get the person's full name, ID number, a callback number and a fax number.

More and more people are talking with the IRS about short sales, foreclosures, title liens, etc.  This will save you about an hour or more, re-explaining the issue you just covered (explained) with the IRS yesterday!  And will get you to the right person.

Keep a detailed record of your conversation.

Also ask them to spell their name--both the FIRST & LAST name!

Thanks for the tip!  I don't do may SS or foreclosures, but it will sure be good to know when I do work on them!

Thanks for sharing.
