This picture was taken the day before I married the Love of My Life....Franklin Leffler......
My best friend Faye Chapman of Fayes Captured Moments came from Laguna Beach California to be my wedding photographer. Because Frank and I hadn't ever taken any "engagement" pictures when we had gotten engaged a year earlier, Faye insisted that we needed a few more for our guest book/album.
We went to Historic Nampa Idaho's downtown area... and we had a photo shoot...it was rather windy...but when Faye is taking photos it is always a lot of fun! Faye has a wonderful ability to draw out the personalities of whoever her subject is...
We took a few poses against a brick wall down town...then we wandered over to the Historical Society's Historic Train Depot. We noticed there were workers inside the museum looking at us out the windows...Faye asked if we could take pictures around a vintage train that is a part of the museum...The volunteer was excited for us so she actually opened the train up so we could go in to the sleeping car...
We then went to the church where we got the sanctuary and the fellowship hall all decorated at the Nampa First Christian Church We were on our way home to dress for the rehearsal dinner when Faye decided she "liked the brick" of the church and wanted to take a few more photos...
As we were waiting for Faye to get her camera settings set Frank reached over to kiss me on the cheek...I love how Faye captured the expression...of orneriness of Frank and the surprise and delight on my face! I think Faye captured the "fun" that Frank and I have together in our life...yes we have challenges...who doesn't? But we have a love that I think only second marriages can have...especially when you have a couple who is older...one who understands love is a very special thing...one that should be cherished and not taken for granted!
I love this contest as I have been trying t figure out how to post a picture for months! I had all but given up...but with the contest and points to be awarded...I was determined to figure it out! So this is my first blog I have posted, that includes pictures!!
